Maurice Sloan founded LIV Strategic Consulting in 2021 and currently serves as the CEO and Lead Consultant. Maurice is a dynamic communicator and motivational trainer with over 20 years’ experience building and leading high achieving teams. He developed his skills while operating in extremely demanding and challenging environments in both the US military and the federal government. Before exploring entrepreneurship Maurice most recently held executive level federal roles, preceded by time as a both a military officer and senior enlisted leader.


Maurice has served and excelled in the following roles. Deputy Director, Human Resources Program Management Operations; Assistant Director HR Operations; Assistant Director HR Policy & Programs; Chief, Human Resources; Deputy Director, Personnel Support; Human Resource Officer (Military); Strength Management Officer (Military).


Mr. Sloan’s career has been highlighted by an aptitude for assuming responsibility for underperforming workgroups and transforming them into high achieving teams. He possesses a passion for training and mentorship along with an unwavering commitment to developing leaders.


Mr. Sloan is an experienced strategic human resources practitioner and training facilitator with a real world and energetic approach. He meets leaders where there are provides them with the tools and confidence to motivate their workforce towards new heights.
